How your start works
Step 1: Create your organisation
Company, name, preferred subdomain and email address. The organisation is created immediately, with sample data.
Step 2: Set your password
Via the link in the email. Then you are in your organisation.
Step 3: Choose a plan
Starter, Basic or Pro. A payment method is stored with Paddle and only charged after the trial.
Step 4: Try it for 30 days
Connect a mailbox, every module, every feature. Cancel during the trial and there is nothing to pay.
Frequently asked questions
What does the AI cost?
Nothing extra with 5sDesk. There is no AI surcharge per agent, no credits and no add-on package. You store your own API key with Anthropic or OpenAI and pay for usage there, at the provider's prices. Usage limits per organisation and day and per person and hour, plus a log of every request, keep the costs in view.
Do I need payment details for the trial?
Yes, when you choose a plan. Billing runs through our reseller Paddle, where you store a payment method. It is only charged after the 30 days; cancel before then and there is nothing to pay. The organisation itself is created before you choose a plan.
What happens without a plan?
Your organisation is created the moment you submit the sign-up form, with sample data. Tickets, boards, deals, CRM, settings and AI are available straight away, for up to three people. Only connecting a mailbox and sending emails wait until you choose a plan. Incoming emails are still collected.
What happens after the 30 days?
The plan you chose continues and is billed from then on. Cancel within the trial and there is nothing to pay. Your data and settings stay exactly as they are through the transition.
How are seats and agents counted?
Starter is a flat rate for up to three people. In Basic and Pro, every person who signs in to 5sDesk counts as an agent. Customers who use the customer portal never count.
Can I change plans?
Yes, at any time. If your team grows beyond the limit of a plan, you move up to the next one. Settings, tickets and data are kept.
What discounts are there?
Paid yearly, Basic costs €300 per agent per year, which is €25 instead of €29 per month. Starter and Pro cost €396 per year, which is €33 instead of €39 per month. Companies founded within the last 24 months also get a 25% startup discount on their plan, monthly or yearly, for the first 24 months after the trial. Just tick "We are a startup" when you sign up or choose your first plan.
Who is the contracting party?
Billing runs through Paddle as the reseller. Invoices and payment processing come from there, while the contract for using 5sDesk is with SWT Media & Software GmbH.
